    Fits older machines too.

Just screwed into my 1973 Cremina and fits under the lid. The only downside is now I need a 15 mm in my Cremina toolkit.

    Lack of loyal customer Support

Was the wrong part. Not clearly stated on site for which unit the part was intended.. Called 3 times, left my number for the the proper part information.. No call backs and no response to my email inquiries.

Even after spending thousands at Cerini.

I called Cerini, got a wonderful technician/engineer/nice person, who answered my myriad questions kindly and accurately. I was told this part is an updated replacement, so it didn't need the small brass cap (screwed on top of the old part) that was original on the old cremina. My safety valve had a metal washer that I couldn't remove, so I used a silicone washer and screwed it in fairly tightly with no leaks/sputters. Thank you to the person who helped me on the phone.

    This seems to work fine.

This seems to work fine. I could only hand screw this down a few turns and was initially a little concerned but I contacted Cerini and they said they used this all the time on similar rebuilds. I took a wrench to it carefully and it seemed a little tight but was not binding and on inspection did not damage the threads - so it does fit, even if it may seem a little tight as first. Your machine may be different but just sharing my experience.

    The product is exactly as

The product is exactly as described. One important note for people replacing the safety valve on older Cremina 67s -- the base of this valve (where it fits into the machine) is 15mm, while the original valve that came with my machine (a 1974 model) had a 17mm base. This meant that the fit was a little bit odd -- and could lead to accidentally deforming the washer between the valve and the machine if you are not careful. I used the old crush washer as a spacer to ensure that this didn't happen on my machine and all fit perfectly.
