After we dropped the old one on our ceramic tile floor we had to have a replacement (the old one had started to whistle and hiss). It works as good as new and they got it to us in Nevada in under two days. Impressive.

My first cap started to leak under pressure, so I bought parts to fix it and at the same time bought a second cap. I can rebuild at my leisure and still enjoy the best espresso ever with the second cap.
